The G mixer is a pre-mixer for medium-sized machine throughputs, for use on or next to the injection moulding machine.
Up to four different components can be processed. Combined with KOCH conveyors, a system can operate fully automatically.

Pre-mixer type V
A pre-mixer for machine throughputs up to 250 kg/h
Shot weights from up to 4 kg
The V-pre-mixers are the larger relations of the KK and G mixers. They really show what they are capable of with high machine throughputs: up to 400 kilograms per hour do not present a problem.
The mixing body is made from stainless steel. In combination with the correct conveyors, it can process powder, masterbatch, virgin material and ground material.

The Gx pre-mixers are optimised for use on extruders and blow moulding machines.
Dosing is batchwise. If the material level falls below a certain point, all the stations accurately dose a set quantity into the mixer. It is irrelevant whether the output from the machine is regular or irregular. The colour always remains consistent.

Pre-mixer for extruders and blow moulding machines
Throughputs up to 250 kg/h and shot weights up to 7 kg
Like the smaller Gx siblings, the machines in the Vx family are designed for use on extruders and blow moulding machines.
Thorough mixing with batchwise dosing and level monitoring guarantee consistent extrusion and blow moulding results.
These pre-mixers are available in types V12x, V25x, V40x and V60x. Elements in the modular system to complement them include dosing devices for powder, masterbatch, and new and ground material with the appropriate conveyors.

The station types Kö 2-1 up tp Kö 4 allows you to dose grains very accurately and with variable adjustment, for both masterbatch and small or large grains. The feed roller is very flexible. That is how it was designed and practice has shown that it works well

With thousands of installations, the KOCH KEM direct coloring device has proven many times over that it is the simplest and best-value solution for dyeing plastic material with masterbatch.
The dosing quantity can be variably adjusted. During impulse-dependent dosing (injection moulding), the dyeing process is carried out fully automatically with volumetric chamber dosing for the entire time granulate is supplied to the screw, with the main component being added via a free feed device. Therefore, when the product is changed, there is no mixed material in the machine.

Changes to the dosing values can be noted immediately on the product. Dye or material changes can be carried out quickly, cleanly and without tools.
The controller component is integrated in the machine housing and offers a choice of two programs for injection moulding machines and two programs for extruders. Furthermore, it is possible to store up to 20 different recipes.

In the GRAVIKO Professor Werner Koch has developed a system which allows users to weigh material doses very easily, at the same time monitoring, correcting and analysing the process.
All the components can be put together in a modular structure and combined very easily.The result is dosing accuracy to ± 4 grains per 1,000 grains.
The patented GRAVIKO series makes it easy to dose and weigh, monitor, correct and analyse - in one cycle.
As a rule, by combining slide opening times with chamber volume dosing, it is possible to achieve dosing accuracy of ± 4 grains per 1,000. The KOCH-GRAVIKO programme recognises external influences as "aberrations" and does not take them into account when comparing the weights.
This makes incorrect dosing as the result of external influences a thing of the past.
It is possible to take a GRAVIKO GK apart within two minutes without tools. Dosing stations can be pushed outwards once two wing screws have been released.
For dosing stations with material throughputs of over 800 kg/h, the slider mechanism is replaced by a pivoting mechanism to make it easier to change the material.

You enter the material to be processed into the unit and follow that with the required percentages. KOCH’s MCm control system calculates the exact feed rate automatically.

You can enter the shot weight and the percentage values for the dosing directly via the operating panel. The device calculates the necessary dosing times automatically.

MCm-G Touch control unit
The MCm-G Touch is an easy-to-use control unit specifically for gravimetric dosing systems. After the size of the weighing container and the recipe have been input, dosing proceeds from the first cycle without the need for any calibration.
All the process data, such as the date, the time, batch information, recipe and machine downtimes, are queried, edited and stored via the touch screen. It is possible to use the unit to document the dosing parameters including all the results.
The internal microprocessor offers exceptional processing power with low energy consumption. It can be easily integrated into an existing network with a network connector. As well as non-volatile memory, it has a slot for a bootable SD/MMC card. The computer unit is protected by a robust industrial housing.
